Will.i.am Accused Of Advertising His Music On The Voice

will.i.am showed off this jacket over the weekend's episode of The Voice

The Voice has been nothing but controversial since it started, and now will.i.am has potentially landed himself and the show in hot water.
The Voice coach, will.i.am has been accused of ‘subliminal advertising’ on the show after wearing an array of jackets that are not only from his clothing range, but also feature his lyrics.
will.i.am has worn one of his jackets in virtually every episode of The Voice, and each features the lyrics: “Go hard or go home,” lifted from his song, T.H.E, The Hardest Ever.
It’s prompted fans of The Voice to question whether the jackets are in fact subliminally advertising will.i.am’s music.
It’s not the first time a judge on a talent show has caused controversy for apparently advertising their products.
During the last series of The X Factor, Tulisa Contostavlos was investigated by Ofcom for her famous ‘arm salute’.
At the start of each show, Tulisa raised her arm to show off her ‘The Female Boss’ tattoo. However, when she released a perfume with the same name, viewers suggested she was advertising her latest business venture.
Ofcom concluded that this wasn’t the case, but it remains to be seen whether will.i.am and the BBC will face similar investigations.
The BBC are yet to respond to the allegations, but this is just the latest in a line of controversies The Voice has caused over recent weeks.
