Cheryl Cole Twitter Row Over Harvey ‘Romance’

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole has become embroiled in an online row with rapper MC Harvey after he claimed the pair had a relationship.
The singer took to Twitter after the former So Solid Crew member told Now magazine that the pair had got together after her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole collapsed.
He told the magazine that the pair had a special ‘attraction’ and that he nursed her through her broken heart when former husband Ashley Cole was found to be cheating on her again.
She tweeted “Was this ‘relationship’ happening in your head @harveyofficial?! Are you smoking something?..” and added “I think I met you once maybe twice at public events and with your wife!!”.
Harvey, whose marriage to former Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon collapsed when he had an affair with singer Javine Hylton, said he had “massive respect” for Cole but hit back on Twitter saying he could prove the pair had been involved with each other as he still had sexy emails the axed X Factor judge had sent him.
He said: “Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans.”
Harvey told the magazine the pair shared “an attraction to each other’s aura” but the relationship stopped last year when Cole moved to America for her ill-fated appearance on the US X Factor.
Cheryl’s bandmate and friend Nicole Roberts came to her defence when she tweeted: “Emails?? I think someone’s been having you on mate.”
Cheryl retweeted her friend’s comment and added: “Spat my tea out. Lmfao (Laughing my f****ing a** off.)
The 32-year-old rapper, real name Michael Harvey Junior had told the magazine: “She’s a good girl. There was a relationship. I wouldn’t have minded Cheryl being my wife.”
A spokesperson for Cole has released a statement saying Harvey’s claims were ‘untrue’.
