Beyoncé and Jay-Z are set to star in the first ever music video to be recorded in space, it has been reported.
According to a British tabloid, the couple, who became parents for the first time last Saturday, are said to be talks with Richard Branson over the possibility of filming a video on board one of his Virgin Galactic ships.
A source revealed: “The label people have been talking about making a music video in space.Beyoncé and Jay-Z seemed the obvious option. Everything is being done to make it happen.”
News of the hip-hop power couple’s involvement in the project comes after Muse’s Matt Bellamy revealed that he had also been talking to Branson and had hoped to persuade him to allow the British rock band to record a track on one of his ships while in space.
